I have broad interests in taxonomy and systematics, morphological evolution and historical biogeography of fishes. My current research focuses on the evolutionary relationships of gobies in the genus Sicydium. I utilize morphological and molecular data to answer questions about the history, validity and relationships of the species within the genus Sicydium. I am also interested in the effects of geologic and climatic history on populations of amphidromous gobies.
