I am an oceanographer with master's degree in zoology and currently a doctoral student in oceanography. My interests include the systematic, biology, ecology and evolution of marine fishes. My current research projects include: ecology, biogeography, functional groups and functional diversity of intertidal fishes; systematic, ecology and biogeography of fishes from Vitoria-Trindade Chain; redescription of Gobiosoma hemigymnum; descriptions of new species of the genus Lythrypnus from Brazil; search for new species of Gobiidae in Brazil.
